Making It Meaningful…

Meaningful Advice for Today’s Twentysomethings

About

I started Making It Meaningful because after leaving university I went through what some call the Quarterlife Crisis. I’d done everything ‘right’: I did very well at school, went to the best university in the country, had a great job, was moving up the career ladder and so on, but I didn’t feel all that happy. During my ‘crisis’ I questioned everything that I’d ever been taught about work, success, achievements, life and myself and realized that much of what I’ve been taught over the years – often subtly – is inaccurate.

Thankfully, I’ve been able to come out on the other side with a renewed sense of purpose, I live life on my own terms and I feel good. However, I’m aware that I’m still growing and learning and that there are others doing the same who could benefit from having an online place where they can listen to and share quarterlife experiences.

The one thing I’ve learned is that ‘making it’ is not enough. In order to be happy you have to make it with a sense of meaning. This site is here to encourage myself and others to do that.
